Historic Vampire Cases

"Elizabeth used to dress up well in order to please her husband...On one occasion, her chambermaid saw something wrong with her headdress, and...received such a severe box on the ear that blood gushed from her nose and spurted on her mistress' face...When the blood drops were washed off...her skin appeared more beautiful.  Elizabeth, therefore, formed the resolve to bathe her  face and entire body in human blood....to enhance her beauty."

Vlad Dracula, Elizabeth Bathory....Fritz Haarman, Rod Ferrell.   There are names people have associated throughout history with terms such as "serial killer", "evil", "murderous" and.... "vampire".  That the two terms should be coined together, sheds an interesting light on how people tend to perceive the concepts associated with the word "vampire".   Sadly, it is these types of real life people, whose excessively violent vampiric behaviours, have been exploited by the media and led everyone in the world, seemingly, to think of people who consider themselves vampires as "crazy" and "evil".   I am including this page to show the extremes so-called vampires can go to; however, it is important to note that most modern real life blooddrinkers are not even remotely this violent, nor are they in any way evil.   Anyways, for historical reference and interest...here are some bios and info on famous real life "vampires".
